It is true that technology can help you find the best deals
It used to be that if you wanted to hire a car at an airport in a different city or country, you would have to telephone each car hire business individually to ask for their rates. With the advent of computers, car hire companies put their rates on the internet, but you still had to go to each car hire site to check out their rates. And of course that was all time consuming.
Not any more. Now there are several websites that offer the traveller the ease and convenience of comparing car hire rate s for a number of companies, all on one page. And not only can you compare the rates at this single website, but you can also book your car there as well.
There are two airports in Paris, the Charles De Gaulle International Airport (CDG), and the Orly Airport. (ORY). The Orly Airport was the main airport in Paris until the completion of the Charles De Gaulle airport, and still handles most of the domestic flights in France. Only is located 13 kilometres south of Paris, and it also handles international flights — to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, and North America. So when you’re checking rates for car hire, make sure you know into which of these two airports you will fly!
These car hire comparison websites are not limited to Paris, of course, but will have information on all airports in North America, South America, Europe, and so on.
Then, you simply need to fill in the rest of the information: what day you wish to pick up the car, which day you wish to drop it off, the car class (budget, economy, compact, intermediate, estate, whether or not you want it to have air conditioning), if you wish it to be automatic or manual, and the age of the driver. You click Search, ad the results come back – and tell you the car hire company, the type of car, the price, and from which terminal (first or second) you must pick it up.
It’s so easy!
